Many years ago, when the concept of Community First Response started, a small team was formed within Hereford & Worcester to have volunteers that would respond to 999 calls alongside the ambulance service.  

As time went on, the skills and capabilities of the team evolved. Currently our CFR are trained to 

First Responder on Scene Level 3  (FROS), which gives them the capabilities for Basic Life Support, 

Emergency medical care, Trauma treatment and much more.. 

The charity has various schemes across the two counties, and covers almost all of the area. 

Each scheme has their own team, and vehicles responding within their respective communities.
